Hi there, I'm a long time user of desktop Mnemosyne, and I just bought an android tablet and need to sync my flashcards. I have read the Mnemosyne Project 'help with syncing' page, but I'm afraid it really leaves me none the wiser as to what I actually have to do, as I don't understand half of the terminology (server, client, "start from an empty database which has the same name as the server database", etc). I have literally no clue what any of that means.
Is there something I can read that will take me through it step-by-step? Just in case it complicates matters, I am currently based in China, so I don't have access to the Google play store to download the latest version of the app, and I am using a VPN on all of my devices (does this have something to do with the server??). I'm sorry if these are stupid questions to you, but the instructions on your site are very vague and not all of your users are tech literate. (Other than that, I love the program, it's great work and easier to use than some alternative apps!)
