Sorry for the late reply. I was under the impression that google would send 
out an email if someone replies to my post. I tried the application you 
recommended and it appears to be working perfectly so far. Thank you!

I understand that the use of two databases isn't recommended but I have no 
choice because of the following reasons:
1. I have divided my cards into multiple categories and my currently active 
cards are spread out. So its not easy to switch them on and off despite the 
flexibility offered by Mnemosyne.
2. I have a huge backlog of scheduled cards. So Mnemosyne's inability to 
include unmemorized cards in daily circulation forces me to use a separate 
smaller DB for such cards. I hope you will address this deficiency in the 
coming release.
