Dear Oisín,

Thank you for your detailed instructions. For a beginner like me, this is a 
valuable guide to meander along. Nevertheless, Mnemosyne breaks still off 
again. But this time with a different error message. Could it be because I 
have an outdated version of Python (3.6)?

That I did:

 1. ~$ pip3 --version
