When I try to start the Sync Gateway (from Windows 8,1, in a DOS window), it usually fails a few times with the following error before starting successfully:

We are using the latest versions of the Sync Gateway and the Couchbase server (versions 3.0.2 and 1.0.3, respectively). Our application uses an app bucket and a corresponding shadow bucket. Several references on the Internet (e.g. https://github.com/couchbase/sync_gateway/issues/302) indicate that this problem can be caused by the counter stored in the _sync:seq document (in the shadow bucket) having been corrupted. However, I have checked this, and this document contains a single whole number (only), which I believe is correct.
