Dear Raju,
Indeed, once the TB is suspended, the phone operates the normal way (single
touch). Further, one need not go to the settings to turn it on again and
pressing the power button twice quickly will bring back the screen reader.
This is really handi specially if you need to share your phone with your
sighted friends. So, check the checkbox in Talkback settings which says
Suspend Talkback with Volume keys and relax!

Anyways, as Navin mentioned, you can pause Talkback's feedback via the
global context menu. Pausing feedback in Talkback terminology is also
referred to as suspending Talkback.
Apart from suspending Talkback through the global context menu, there
is a far more efficient technique of achieving the same in the latest
version of Talkback.
Go into your Talkback Settings, and check a check box labelled
something like 'long press volume buttons to suspend talkback'.
Once located and checked, you can suspend Talkback and resume it by
long pressing both Volume keys together.
Initially, a dialog will pop up confirming Talkback's suspension,
however, on checking the Do not show this again check box in the
dialog, on future occasions, the confirmation dialog will not appear.
This implies that you can simply long press Volume keys and suspend
and resume Talkback in a whirl.
