I made a D&D functionality with MochiKit available here : http://trac.mochikit.com/wiki/DragAndDrop.
It needs tests and uses by other than myself. The API is a mix between Rico&Scriptaculous, I think I even corrected the Safari problem of Rico. As Bod stated, I tried to port the original functions, so a "from scratch" library would certainly be cleaner. -- Thomas
