Good point. Hard to debug without an example. I didn't realize that
DragAndDrop/Sortables were so new.

Here's a quick and dirty test page that I put together to illustrate.
Trying to add scroll:true or ghosting:true to the options in the init
script will really make things weird/ugly.

There are some position:relative CSS bugs here so IE users won't see
anything... It's just a CSS thing. Use Firefox and it looks ok.
