Has anyone used jQuery, I've just discovered it, and it seems prety interesting. It's lacking solid documentation (mochikit is great at documentation), but on the other hand it's very small 15kb and very effective. You can make a treeView in some 25 lines of javascript code. a rss reader in 7 lines.
