I second that. Unless you are a Flash expert, you do not want to go
ANYWHERE near Flash/Browser interaction. You basically end up
multiplying the number of browser incompatibilities by the various
bugs in various versions of Flash.

Use someone else's code. Take a look at the Flash/JavaScript
Integration Toolkit, AFLAX, etc.
