I guess what is different is I am calling a function in the controller named something other than onRequestStart. <message-listener message="OnRequestStart" function="setUserInfo" /> I do see the MG onRequestStart in the debug and I am using application.cfm. I did find on Joe's blog the differences, but that did not cover onRequestStart. I am going to back out of it for right now as I am starting to change too much, and post another message about my real issue that got me trying MG3 in the first place, just to see if the issue still existed.
