That course was written to introduce developers to the Model-Glue framework. In particular, Quickstart 6 explains event types and how views can "wrap" themselves around preceeding views. The Model-Glue 3 Training course, on the other hand, assumes some familiarity with Model-Glue: students should either have completed the Quickstart course or already be using Model-Glue. Note the following in the introduction to the training course ( http://trac.model-glue.com/wiki/Training): Model-Glue 3 introduces a number of improvements over previous versions in best practices and new features. This course is designed to walk you through the important new concepts through hands-on tasks. The above should have made it clear to you that the training assumes you are familiar with the standard features of Model-Glue 2 (which we believe the Quickstart covers). We welcome suggestions for the Quickstart tutorial from new users, but we cannot be blamed for not re-explaining the basics in an intermediate-level training course.
