Are you saying Unity would not fail if a controller was configured in the XML to listen for a message broadcast?
It's one thing to broadcast a message no controller is listening for. I know we don't (shouldn't) throw an error for that. But defining a message listener on a controller definition with a function that does not exist seems like a programmer error, no? Is there a business case where you want to define messages on controllers, but not have the function work? Or are you merely pointing out an inconsistency? Either way, I appreciate it, I just need to know what (if anything) to do on my end.
