no, nobody has rejected you. ;-) What has happened is this: You have quoted the email you rejected to James (via Bcc). As this email was spam, his spam filter was triggered, thus the mail was rejected on his side as well. So all went as expected.
In the future, it's enough to reject a message via moderation when it's spam. No need to copy someone else - if it's spam, chances are his spam filter is triggered via your mail. :)
