a lot of the music everyone is naming is local or hard to find stuff. how
about some people encode mp3s of the music they like so much. the point of
posting what songs you like is so others can find out about them too right?
thats kind of hard to do for a lot of us who may be in different countries
or out in the boonies or who are broke. if anyone does not know how to
encode mp3s email me and i will explain. i have put up a DOS mp3 encoder
up on my website. you can download it at
http://www.nettaxi.com/citizens/ccduke/files/Encode_v26.zip the encoding
process really isnt that hard. all you need is a cd-rom, a CDDA ripper
(easy to download.. comes with many sound programs), and some free hard
drive space. I can give you the specifics on how to do it. Now all we
need to do is find someone willing to host the mp3s. I can host some of
them but if any one else (bruce?) has a webpage with space it would be
great if you could host some. if anyone else wants to do this i have some
modest mouse mp3s i could put up but i think most poeple already have them.
