karate is the perfect music for driving at night.  they sound like slint
at times (am i the only one who thinks this?) and the lyrics are pretty,
sad, and mopey.  also, if you like them, you should also find the secret
stars album called 'genealogies'.  it's a cute duo record by geoff
farina (lead singer for karate) and his girlfriend (what's her name?).

hope that helped.  i'm going to see karate in just four hours!  i'm
happy.
