From: "blucadet3 do you connect?" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wow someone mentioned ethyl meatplow. I thought I was the only one who spent > highschool at the industrial club grooving to my life with the thrill kill > kult etc... I listened to a lot of industrial in highschool too... and goth... mostly Thrill Kill Kult, Skinny Puppy, Front 242, Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, etc... actually I still listen to all of that... just not as much. I didn't get into Ethyl Meatplow til the year I graduated, '93, when I saw them open for Front 242. God, they rocked - much better, ultimately, than the Geraldine Fibbers, in my book. They were like the B-52s on crystal meth. Carla kept pulling girls out of the audience to kiss, the other singer guy was mostly naked, and by the end of the set 1/4 of the audience was up onstage dancing with them. > I must go see Princess Mononoke or whatever her name is. Gaiman rules. Er? Did I miss something? Did Neil Gaiman have something to do with Princess Mononoke or were you just randomly stating that he rules? I agree - he does. I recently re-discovered my lost Sandman t-shirt. Yay. np:Mogwai, "Christmas Song" -- ...extensive liner notes and make-believe alien languages... Rev.
