It seems that a lot of people are tossing around terms
that they might not be fully familiar with. Please
allow Webster and I to clarify:

ATHIEST - rejects all religious beliefs and denies the
existence of God

AGNOSTIC - questions the existence of God, heaven,
etc. in the absence of material proof and in
unwillingness to accept supernatural revelation

DEIST - a historical term, was applied to 18th-century
rationalists who believed in God as a creative, moving
force but who otherwise rejected formal religion and
its doctrines of revelation, divine authority, etc.

There are others, obviously, but maybe this will clear
the air a bit... and besides, despite the honesty with
which Isaac conveys emotions, they are song lyrics.
And song lyrics do not necessarily equal one's
concrete beliefs (not unlike how gangsta rap artists
protect themselves from the law by claiming that their
songs are merely portraits into the mind of a gang
member instead of representative of the artist's
actual conduct or beliefs, otherwise they would all be
up the creek on charges of conspiracy to murder one).

Ya dig?
