i'm relieved to see someone else stick up for godspeed...i didn't have time before, so i'll add my two cents to what's already been said- even people who usually hate the majority of things i listen to like godspeed. i worship them. and seriously, there is some intelligence lacking if you can't at least appreciate their art. here's an interesting fact for any of you who are fans-you know how most bands have beer written into their contracts as part of payment for playing somewhere? one of my friends told me that when they played here (at modified in phoenix) he had to go buy two cases of beer and a huge bottle of wild turkey for them. it's reasonable-there's 15 or so people in the band, but i thought the wild turkey thing was funny. happy holidays to you all! love-kirstin.
