heres a newsflash for ya, dude. i own the cd containing the lyrics i
ripped. thats right, its sitting right here, alphabetized in between the
new mercury program and maximillian colby. its okay if i dont like
lyrics, you know? just becuase i dont like the ones on that song and think
they are far from being anything more profound that some 7th grader's try
at poetry doesnt mean i am automatically in need of a "fuck you" and an
accusation of listening to strictly polyvinyl and jade tree records
bands. it is possible, even though you seem to know that youre music is
better than mine, for me to listen to both. what a concept.
and i hate to burst your bubble, but there are no "emo" bands on either
jade tree or polyvinyl records. never were. that genre died in 1995 when
portraits of past broke up.
and im actually sorry that i have the mendoza line cd. for the most part,
its pretty bland. even worse, the lyrics that were quoted are almost
identical to about three other songs on the album. kindercore made a good,
good move.....
