Right back at cha. Without music, lyrics are poetry, and as poetry, that
song is shit. If this were a poetry discussion board, I would have posted a
crit. and probably said something disparaging about fourteen year olds with
word processors. This isn't a poetry discussion board, and I don't think
anyone wants it to become one, so we said something cynical and let it die.
As for rummaging through my CD collection to find my less "intellectually
stimulating" selections, I didn't post "lyrics of the day" to an open forum.
I thought those lyrics were crap, and I said so. I did not (nor did anyone)
pass any judgment over the person who originally posted them, as you seem so
quick to do of us.
