You may have categorized me a bit too quickly.

I definitely don't insist on drinking expensive beer, it just so
happens that the beers I enjoy the most end up being expensive. It's not
like I had multiple choice with my taste, you know? It's kind of like
chastising somebody who prefers Sobe over Snapple. It's not their fault
that Sobe is 69 cents extra and it's not their fault that they like the
taste of it.

As far as beer-preaching, I didn't intend to put off that it was what
I was doing. Beer was brought up and I suggested a few alternatives, *not*
to be haughty or snobby or whatever, but just to be helpful. If you
misconstrued that, it has nothing to do with me. There are plenty of fine,
cheap beers. Pete's Wicked Ale is really cheap, and it's pretty good, too.

Understood, but for those who genuinely enjoy the taste of beer, this
doesn't apply at all.
