I as well just got back from the new york show. wow wow wow. I think they
played for over two hours - they started around 10:45 and the show got out at
like 1? started with its all nice on ice and ended with a rocking custom
concern.
Runthrough-

les savy favs - rad rad rad rad rad rad band. For anyone who was at the
show, i was the guy he handed the microphone to and didnt realize he was
telling me to freestlye so just said "i dont know the fucking words" into the
mic. Silly me. They are so energetic - go see them. They were handing out
some kind of shimmery fabric - i got a piece and he made everyone tie them
around their necks. Then he threw his beer all over the crowd - made me
reminiscent of the recent list-debate. The lead singer said they were the
panda express and then the palace brothers. hahahaha.

Califone - they were good - VERY MELLOW - i think they're placement between
a crazy rockin band and the headliner was kinda bad, cause there was only one
semi-jumpable song. But they were very excellent.

THE MOUSE - isaac spent about twenty minutes on stage prior to the set tuning
his guitar and RUSS GET THIS - neutral milk hotel was playing over the PA and
a good number of people were all singing along - myself included. The entire
album played before they took the stage. So I meet these very two lovely
girls who were next to me and were just as excited to see the band as i - the
rest of the crowd seem kinda apathetic. Right before they come, i hear
someone say behind me "is anyone here on the mailing list?" i turn around
and lo and behold i met one of us, i think he said his name was spacedog?
very cool guy.
so mouse comes on and they have a huge setlist which is a long piece of
cardboard. all the songs i can remember..........
styrofoam boots
3rd planet
cowboy dan (AMAZING)
doing the cockroach (AMAZING)
wild packs of family dogs
paper thin walls
custom concern
breakthrough
what people are made of (AMAZING)
truckers atlas (AMAZING)
out of gas
perfect disguise
postive negative
never ending math equation
all nite diner
trailer trash
A song that i have no clue as to what it is but caught the lyric "digging
holes in thin air?"
the t-shirts are light blue, have the new kinda font and a circular line
design above the name.
isaac was very very funny. said something about teeth like gods shoeshine
being written by mr. bojangles.
i am tired. i hate subways and PATH trains. ugh ugh ugh.
goodnight. hello spacedog?
