I put artist in quotes because I have never (and will never) listened to
anything Courtney love has produced, and I am not at liberty to call her an
artist or not, but she calls herself one, so I put it in quotes. My point,
was that technology doesn't give a crap whether she's an artist, or how much
she gets paid, or what her demands or needs are. If it runs her over, there
will be thousands if not millions to carry on in her wake. She is a very
insignificant pawn confronting a very powerful, significant force. I doubt
anyone is going to be able to put the worms back into the can that will be
opening in the next few years, least of all Courtney Love. I could care
less whether or not she is being bilked out of billions of dollars, she's
about as pertinant as roadkill. If I had her understanding, I'd stay with
the big 5, but thankfully, I don't.

baseless opinion. She is in *no* position to make demands, which is
something she obviously has no grasp of. She will constantly be working for
other people if she wants to make money as an "artist" wether it be for
>>
Okay, she was saying that she is NOT making any money working for the people
she's working for. And I don't really have any reason to doubt her,
considering she's signed to Polygram, and Seagrams owned companys are
notorious for fucking over thier artists (note the lack of quote marks).
Isn't it fair to pay someone a livable wage for creating a product which you
sell? Whether you like Courtney Love or not?
