I don't really want to drag this out anymore, but I have some idea yr just griping to
gripe, so I'm just going to argue to argue and be done with it...
1."Santa Monica, CA". I'm pretty damn sure Courtney Love doeesn't live there, because
she is admittedly all about glamour and SM is,as a whole upper middle class and, in
part, crappy. I think she would chose to take her money (see item 2) and live in a
better part of town, perhaps Malibu or Beverly Hills. Regardless.
2. Courtney Love has a rich, famous, dead ex-husband. Regardless of any rumour
concerning thier personal relationship, he wouls have made sure his daughter was aply
provided for. Also, Courtney Love used to live with Edward Norton, before he left her
for Selma Hayek. She probably skimmed some off the top of that relationship, too.
3. Courtney Love has not only appeared in several motion pictures,for which I am
certain she was well paid, but was nominated for a Golden Globe, which probably makes
her asking proce higher.
4. Courtney love has band members who - and if anyone in LA remembers seeing Eric
Erlandson slumming at Jabberjaw, you'll back me up on this - are not rich and famous.
Maybe she cares about thier lifestyle. Regardless.
5. Courtney Love never claimed in that speech that she did not have enough money. She
said she didn't like the way the record label treated her, and that for all of her
work she more or less broke even, and she wants to do it another way.
But, whatever. I've had it. It may sound crazy to you, but celebritys have to pay the
bills, too.
