howdy, new to the list, figured i'd start off right with something not having to do with modest mouse. two things, real quick. first, robert altman should also be remembered for M*A*S*H. great fucking movie. everything that's come after nashvillle has been dissapointing (my friends and i walked out of cookie's fortune, cause we figured we already knew how it would end, and why bother watching the rest of a shitty movie? and the less said abotu pret a porter, the better [except does anyone remember the music video that came out with the movie? i've been trying to remember who did it. it was a black guy, kind of reggae, i think, and he would rap while the background would stop and start moving. so bad it's good.]) second, i thought the whole point of magnolia was just how darkly funny life can be. i like P.T.
