i think i could appreciate the movie more if the moral was "stuff just
happens."  that's how i perceived it and i don't think i'd like the movie
half as much if i were thinking "this is how darkly funny life can be."  i
don't think the aimee mann sing-a-long was that lame.. i mean it was
embarrassing to watch because i can't believe anyone has the balls to do
something that dorky, but he did and i think he's pretty noble for that ;) 
i don't think that's something they'd do on friends either..i think he fit
it in there because people sing along with songs in the privacy of their
own home.  it was a ballsy move in my opinion.
