one genre of music is right. i'm not talking about the indie or britpop
lame as hell scene. i'm talking about music in general, specifically music
on the radio. we could've avoided a lot of cockrock if it weren't for led
zeppelin.
by the way
i wouldn't go looking for decent music by listening to the smiths, duran
duran, or the chameleons ;) even the elvis costello thing bugs me.
some answers i would've creamed my jeans about:
talking heads
sonic youth
dinosaur jr
brian eno
new order
i mean
i was pretty obviously talking about the correlation between led zeppelin
and the corporate rock (ie cockrock) of the 80s...there was nothing good
that came out of led zeppelin, that's the point i was trying to prove. and
it's true, nothing good came out of led zeppelin ;)
