Thanks to everyone who responded to my Promise Ring questions. I hadn't
touched "Nothing Feels Good" since the first week I bought it, so if
anything you've made me give it a closer listen. My new conclusions:
I'll be listening to it on random from now on. I think it might be the first
track that keeps turning me off. Are the newer albums any better lyrically?
I mean one or two songs with only one line are ok, but half the album is
this way. Also very repetitive lyrics from song to song. Yeah yeah,
interstates, red and blue, New England, blah blah blah.
The last three songs definetly kick ass though, as do "Why Did We Ever
Meet?" and "A Broken Tenor." Someone give me a few suggestions for similarly
styled songs to check out on Napster and I'll love you forever.
