I use the free sybase ase to develop the NNTP backend to O'Reilly's Web
Board, and of course all my local mod_perl web stuff. Been very fast and
very stable. The major difference IIRC between the free ase and the
commercial one is row level locking (there are other diffs, but that's the
one I'm most aware of).
