Boiler, I can assure you, was not an easy piece to put together. And of the
few modernist sites out there, it's very on target (no pun intended). The
philospohy is this: international, clean, contemporary.
The fact is this: in every scene there are young kids whose interests lie in
patches, "mod" suits, etc. But how different is that from modslist?
Questions about drugs and casual gear?
Maybe we (as a culture) feel too overwhelmed by all this information we can
so
easily access that at this point, we become careless and selective.
The Boiler led me to many friendship's....modslist, well, i won't comment. I
have received two good suggestions to a question I posted. Another question
was ignored. Whereas the Boiler, I'll always get a positive response.
Liking a website is purely an individual opinion. Why make it an issue on
this mailing list?

I'll agree with that 100% Misa. However, I don't think it's the Boiler's
fault that the site and community are lacking... I've met quite a few people
through it also, and, yes, it is better than this list as far as constant
whining and nagging goes. But, the people on it just don't use it to it's
fullest potential. Probably because there's only 500 of us.........I guess
I'm just not a huge fan of elitism...that's all.

P.S. Misa and I met through the boiler, so, I shouldn't slag it at all...
