On the grounds of it's modness or otherwise, can I just say that mods did
get there before the hippies, and vegetarianism wasn't uncommon amongst
early mods, when it was uncommon amongst society in general (apart from
nudists & fascist connected health cults). So there is a definite historical
basis towards linking the two things, but quite how that's relevant today i
don't know (if you're going to aspire to 'early Mod' throw out those Small
Faces and Booker T records too).
