Would that be er...bowling shoe-type material by any chance? Or do you prefer
the traditional platform-soled bowling shoe?
This 'unique brand of humour' you were on about is intriguing though
unfortunately rather perplexing, as it is very definitely of the
'undetectable' variety. If only I were sophisticated enough for it to have
raised a smile. If we consider this harsh, we should ask ourselves a few
pertinent questions.
Should any decent society in the world be allowed to talk about their own
sense of humour? Would anyone in the world readily admit to having no sense
of humour? Is it possible to make references to one's own sense of humour
without involuntarily emitting the subtext 'I'm dead wacky me!'
I think not. It was my duty as a British citizen to write this.
