Just don't act a ponce with one and they are really useful. I always
said that I would never turn over to the mobile revolution, but since I had
to, I've found it not a wholly unpleasant experience.

Disagree. The only option is to not buy a house brick. The NEC DB2000 is
very sleek (christ, here comes my sales pitch!) small as a gnats chuff and
doesn't spoil the line of your suit at all. If that's what you were bothered
about. They really are so functional. But I suppose you don't feel ready to
embrace the real world yet Paul, is that it? Is that your problem.
Technology must move backwards to progress? Kinda fucked that philosophy
isn't it? So why am I sat at a computer wearing styles of over 30 years ago?
Beats me!
See your point but can't agree.

Picture it, you're half way down the M1 on your 'trusty' 125 when all of a
sudden, the engine gives in. Stuck in the middle of the country without a
cats chance in hell of telling your mates that you aren't gonna be there for
the Action in the IOW. They don't fret about where you are, you fret,
marginally, but know that help is on the way.
Picture it...there you are in a coffee bar, cappuccino in one hand when
Edwin Starr comes in and says that if you can get a set of mates together
within 5 mins you can have a football match with the Motown AllStars with
Jimmy Ruffin at left back and Earl Van Dyke in goal. If you win, you get the
entire Motown estate, including the rights to all those lovely acetates
Chris King keeps pilfering from the vaults. All your mates are shopping for
tiepins or something. You'd be fucked then wouldn't you.....
Think about that one...
Ha HA! Got you there haven't I!
