yes replying to my own post... i make an amendment.. diane di prime was in fact not part of the sanfrancisco renaissance... she was a new yorker like the rest of them. aww shucks...but she still came along a little later than the real fellas. see Memoirs of a Beatnik by diane di prima.. md.
