Bardot A Go Go was fab (once the dinner folks left around 10 pm!), but a bit
Tres Chic for most of the LA, crowd! This was evident, since most of the
attendes were From San Fran or San Diego.
So sad that Carrie "Swing" Dubnier and Dave Dubnier of Scoot Quarterly could
drive all the way from SF, with their Vespa (none the less) and Mr. Terry
Ellsworth, who had been such a help on the pre-promotion of Bardot club had
fallen asleep and missed the event!
The fashion was amazing! A lot of the crowd looked as if they just walked in
from Carnaby St, via 1966! Must also add that Pink Frankenstein is a
brilliant D.J. playing a mixture of French soul, (wha hooooooooo!), French
pop (long live Serge Gainsberg) and French "Girls In The Garage" type stuff!
A big thanks to Sr. Amore for all his help too!

Anyway, to change the subject, I remember a post a while back about a free
night (I think the club was called Brigitte Bardot?) at the club at LAX? (I
can't remember if that was the name). I've been out of town, and I wondered
if it had happened (and anyone on here went) was it any good? >>
