I really dug it as well. They played almost every Jacques Dutronc song
possible. With the exception of the few 90's disco-like tunes the DJ's were
very good. I wish they would've played more vinyl instead of CD's,(CD's
sounded a bit too tinty in there)a few others said the same. Really dug the
Danger Diabolik flicks on the ceiling as well and of the course the bar
itself in phenomenal.
For those who haven't been to the Encounter bar at LAX, it's pretty
amazing inside. However, either get sauced up before you go up or bring
loads of dough because the drink prices are ludicrous, even for L.A.
Tony(who is use to paying only 2.25
for a cocktail)
