Nevertheless, apparently Drew Barrymore is up for the title role. I just cannot picture that somehow. Can't picture it either, and I hope I don't have to. Besides who would they cast in it without turning it into some cheez fest? Drew Barrymore? This IS a bad idea! As a totally unrelated side comment, I picked up a comp. called "60's Soul: Try a Little Tenderness" over the weekend, and despite having bought it rather overpriced at Record Town it's a great CD, it has somr really great tunes like Tell Mama (The Amazing Etta James!!)
