Hey Hey Kids;
Seeing as people are still talking about it I'll give you my two cents...
I agree with Matt's comments on a somewhat glowing weekend on the other side of
the Pennines.
>There were quite a
few YOUNG revival mods and a bloke in a sky blue blouse. Oh and a young man
who seemed to have consumed 14gms of speed, wide eyed and bushy tailed.
Dorian took quite a liking to him, didn't ya kid?!
Aren't fully with what you mean there Matt. I think you mean the one who had me
doubled up with laughter when he nearly kept standing on your toes when he was
'dancing'. I remember the blue-bloused Griff Rhys-Jones type character
(apparently he was wearing a hairpiece). However, you singularly failed to
mention the ancient bloke who looked uncannily like Patrick 'gamesmaster'
Moore. No, he really did.
>However, the music was pretty good. There was even a spin of Johnny
Nash's Love Ain't Nothing (Dorian's request I might add! Perhaps you do have
a decent taste in music after all! ;)
Er...is that a good or bad comment? The said tune is definitely superb, though.
Also, If I wanna dance to Ska then f**k you! I'm actually getting more into
some of the early stuff (not Madness) and have recently acquired a fine single
on BlueBeat, 'Sit and Cry' by Owen and Millie. So there.
Finally can I just say to the lad who was doing Alan Partridge impressions
outside afterwards - I can do them better than you, I just didn't want to
embarrass the people I was with, ok? good.

ps To the bloke who sent in an apology for mistaking me for Matt: Yes, I've
taken deep offence and just remember - I know who you are. Only kidding fella,
it's just when you asked me my name and then kept going "what? Doreen? Darren?
Dariah?" when I told you I had to laugh because it happens every week as you
can probably imagine.
