LA? Anything going on this weekend?

I may have occasion to be in LA this coming weekend and am wondering if there are any 
"mod" type shows or clubs going on. I am interested in traditional as well as newer 
(britpop/indie) music. Do "Shout" and "Solid" still happen? Thanks in advance.
