I bought some shoelaces for my black, eight-eyed Dr Martens boots. WHITE
laces. Mind you, personal politics had nothing to do with the purchase,
only the fact that I thought they looked neat. Three people at school
asked me what my laces meant, because they had the misconception that
"Black Boots + White Laces = White Power". Now, none of you really know
me, but I'm one of the most obviously non-racist people I know, and it
offended me that people would ask such a dumb question.
So, to avoid future trouble, I'm putting my old black laces back in.
Phfft. What a load of crap, eh?
