I might be responding prematurely, for I have yet to read the 10ish messages
titled with my name followed by a (gag) [gotta love that!], I will respond
none the less.
If you are implying that Dan is an innocent who doesn't flare, I think you
are mistaken. If you think his question of 'Where did Yosi go?' was simply
a question of my location, you should read a bit deeper. Dan simply shrouds
his insults in thin vails of bitter wit (quite MOD indeed!)
Let us take it back a bit. Dan has been on my ass from moment go. I joined
this list to find people of like mind and taste...and I have met many such
folk, and visited them around the world. But the moment I let a spot of
information about myself out [I believe it was my job is what really brought
out the hellfire] there was instant backlash from Dan...and others as well.
Dan seems to have something against my profession. He has made a sweeping
over generalization about the type of person that does what I do. I think
if he were to look a little closer, he would find that he has issues that
run deeper than his distaste for me but to what he seems to think I
represent. What he doesn't realize is that he is just flaring, as Davy and
so many on this (myself included) do. That's it. It all boils down to the
fact that he is just like every other bully on the playground. A shit
talker. So enjoy. Flare away. It's all, as you said 'tripe.'
On this list, I will continue to learn about the music which drives my
nights (and days), I will continue to learn the history of the 'scene'
(ouch!, I know) I am a part of in my own little way, and I will continue to
post on topics I feel I can contribute to.
I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE.
