Frankly, I don't see the whole point in all these so-called tribute albums. 
It seems like every band and their mother is having a tribute album made of 
them. I think the Spice Girls are next...

If you really admire and appreciate a band, listen to, and enjoy their 
albums. Getting a bunch of crap bands to massacre their songs, that doesn't 
seem like much of a tribute to me.
