You can add to that list San Luis Obispo's very own Club One Mods, who made
the California State Gang File in 1987. A few good street brawls and minor
association with some skinheads (not the good kind) and you go down in the
books for life. And while on the subject, before Club One Mods, there was a
gang of Mods in San Luis Obispo, called the Street Faces. Two of the members
went on a 2 day crime spree robbing a few homes, followed by 2 carjackings at
gun point. All the victims gave the same descriptions, suits, parkas, very
neat in appearance. Needless to say when Sunday night rolled around and all
the local mods were at their favorite dance club the cops came in raided the
place and hauled every last mod downtown for questioning. Memories of the
good 'ol days.
