I would suggest getting the same size as your suit jacket. I am a 36,
all of my suits are 36, and my wool crombie is 36. It fits perfectly,
neither tight nor loose. I think it's a standard rule of coat design to
allow that sort of fit.

I'm definite on this... but if you know a local retailer who sells
similar coats, you might want to check some coats for size, wearing a
suit, so you know, in case you're still unsure.
