Yes, the new Ford concept car. Too bad it's never going into production.
Imagine seeing those being driven around your fave metropolitan city? The
021c, named for the pantone color J.Mays chose for the car. Brilliant design,
completely impratcial though. In particular I noticed that there is no way to
manually shift the car. Weird. I agree that if the 021c was ever put into
production, the marketing/advertising agency in Boston that (luckily) handled
the new VW Bug promotion would do a wonderful job getting it out on the street
to all the Wallpaper/Surface kids out there.

I can understand why someone would dislike the Mini 2000, but I think they
make for a respectable update to an undisputed classic. I will admit to
not knowing enough about it's engine specs to make any knowledgable
comment, but marketed correctly, they could easily compete with the VW
Beetle, Mercedes A Class and the typical output of any other competitors in
its class (e.g. Ford Focus). Speaking of...did the A Class ever catch on
in Europe?
I'm also quite a fan of the new Ford concept car designed by J. Mays
recently featured in Wallpaper* (name eludes me, sorry....ci3 or
something?) The only problem with Fords though is that well, they're still
Fords.
Scooter transit? How about:
Subaru Brat
Chevrolet El Camino
Ford Durango
Now excuse me while I duck from the tomatoes being hurled at me.

p.s. Just kidding about the pickup recommendations.
p.p.s. In other transportation news, how about Peter "I'll do anything for
a buck" Max painting planes for Continental in 2000? I actually think it's
a great idea, very in line with the Calder planes for Braniff.
