i say that a good haircut can be judged by whether or not you like it a week 
or so after you've gotten it. i got mine done about a month ago and was in 
agony because the woman obviously had unresolved agressions that she took out 
on my bangs! but they somehow recaptured their previous glory and a few days 
later i was quite happy with the cut. 

but everyone, definitely pay the extra money, especially you girls. cheaper 
places like supercuts etc don't listen and don't care.. you won't miss the 
$30+ as much as you'll rue the day that you tried to be thrifty!
