Wow. As I expected you would write. Unfortunately, I am just a visitor
from France and is staying with a friend in the Bronx. I attended last
friday night's Suite courtesy of invitation from John, Gregg, Jenna and
Michael. I know basically all of the djs who spun but I did not stay for
the duration. I am also a dj in France and to address your "witty"
comment about "writing down song titles so I can spin them" is simply
divine! Bravo, mon ami. I am sorry to burst your bubble, the reason I
know the material is b/c i spin some of them myself, but as a european
the boogaloo sound is not as popular therefore we spin some of it but
motown and northern seems to be where are heart is.

OK, as long as your friends with the DJ's i am cool with it. I was just
merely defending that line-up. I heard that "disco" was spun when I had
left, but to hear that the "mod dj's here spin disco is absurd". It is
just hard to put down those 3 of which each of them spin a great set.
Mike spinning some heavy funk grooves, Greggy d spinning the latin, and
john spinning afrofunk. Brilliant.

Hmm. Good point. But I can relate to some of the dj's who feel they gave
it their all during the height of the night and feel they want to unwind
and just spin whatever b/c they have never spun some of these records
before. Well, I dunno perhaps you can relate, but I would not ask. I
caught myself spinning some off the wall sounds at around 5am. So, i can
relate.

I know alot of well-dressed men and women. None of which i think can i
say dress "the best". Feels like a highschool yearbook celebrity
contest. Hey Mum, I won best dressed!
I think true style can be found in presence and intellect. The woven
fabric is one thing but great dressing can be found in people who do not
always talk about it or make it an issue. They know they look good and
they do not need to have it drilled into people's minds. Simple.
