I work for this mail-order company that sells telescopes and other
astronomical equipment. One of our regular customers is this guy Tim Russ,
who plays a Vulcan on Star Trek: Voyager. He's swears a lot.
"I was up my roof last night with that fuckin' telescope, freezing my ass
off!"
On the other hand, he sent us a bunch of autographed pics, for all the
Trekkies that work here(of which I am one).
Last time I was in LA, I saw Michael Michele, the black, lady cop from
Homicide, in a Borders. She was trying so hard to look inconspicuous, that
she looked very conspicuous. Hair pulled tightly back, plain, white
button-up, sunglasses inside, the whole star thing.
I always see lots of famous people in LA. Go figure.
