i think that the "snobbery" comes from the fact that theymay be sick of
people associating parkas etc with the mod experience/lifestyle - not that
you were asking about that . . .
also i wonder if you made some comment about the irrelevance of
architecture in your boiler post since people began defending it.
why do i defend the boiler? because it is one of few sites that promote a
much more interesting view of modernism than the superfulous sixties
devoted boredom that is all too often mass re-produced.
ugh! modernism. what an old and outdated premise. alignment with merely
negating and refusing to modernize past and beyond our now post modern cut
and paste.
