For those listers "out of the loop" as it were, "Green Onions" is actually
an ultra-rare instrumental soul song recorded by an unknown band that went
by "Booker T. and the MGs." Not much is known about this band
unfortunately, although I think I read that they were one of the few
racially mixed groups of the era, in the liner notes of some obscure, out
of print compilation.

I've seen copies of this 45 go for upwards of 500 pounds, and as luck would
have it, I've got an extra copy for sale that I'd be willing to part with
for only $100 US--British listers, now's your chance to take advantage of
the relatively weak dollar (while I try to take advantage of something
else)! Paul Secular, take note.

PS - I saw the spread (still didn't buy the copy of "Details"), did anyone
else notice that, in addition to putting pins on everything, they actually
re-used the same pins in every shot? I think the most misleading pin was
the "Northern Soul" one. Really, as if mods actually liked northern.
